About MoveWORK

From 35 m² to a collective adventure

In 2010, three passionate individuals settled into a 35 m² office in Montpellier with a simple yet ambitious idea: transforming the way everyday services are organized and managed.
This dream could have remained just an intuition, but it quickly found support: the Cap Ômega incubator, the Metropolis and the Occitanie Region, as well as the first partners who believed in us when everything still had to be proven.

Growing with an engaged ecosystem

MoveWORK has never grown alone. From the very beginning, the local ecosystem played a key role:
innovation support programs, funding from Bpifrance, guidance from regional experts, and above all, the trust of our first clients.
Healthcare institutions, local authorities, and cleaning companies agreed to test our early-stage solutions. Their high standards shaped our decisions and anchored our DNA: combining technology with real, on-the-ground usefulness.

A deeply human journey

Our story is not just that of a company, but that of a collective:
visionary founders, passionate teams, supportive institutional and economic partners, pioneering clients who believed in us, and dedicated collaborators who built every milestone with resilience.

Every success is the result of a local ecosystem that enabled MoveWORK to take root and open itself to the world, without ever losing its soul.

A family-owned company that became an international player

From a small family business to a partner of major groups across Europe and beyond, MoveWORK has remained true to its original promise: bringing more transparency, efficiency, and humanity to Facility Management.

Our story is not only one of international growth; it is also the story of a deeply European company, rooted in its home regions while expanding far beyond their borders. Nothing sustainable can be built without the trust of local stakeholders, yet it is this European cultural and economic diversity that has shaped our vision and strengthened our resilience.

Today, this dual identity locally anchored and globally open defines who we are. It enables us to embrace a pioneering role in a rapidly evolving sector, balancing operational performance, social responsibility, and innovation.

The future of MoveWORK is being written as a collective journey: a trusted European community where every employee, partner, and client contributes to building a more responsible, more efficient, and more human model of Facility Management.

When I think back to MoveWORK’s early days, I can still see our small team of three people in a 35 m² office, driven by one big idea: transforming the way everyday services are organized and managed. We had neither certainty nor comfort only one conviction: Facility Services could, and should, become more transparent, more efficient, and more human.

Behind this conviction were faces and invaluable support. My wife, who encouraged and guided me through moments of doubt as well as success; my children, my loved ones, and dear friends were the first to believe in this project. Their unwavering trust kept us moving forward when everything felt uncertain. Our partners shared both the risks and the achievements essential companions on this journey.
Along the way, we faced obstacles and moments of questioning, but each difficulty strengthened our vision: building a company that does more than deliver technology one that truly improves the daily lives of thousands of agents, managers, and clients.

Today, MoveWORK is no longer a fragile young startup. It is a recognized platform, deployed in critical environments such as healthcare and industry, chosen by service providers and major groups who entrust us with what they value most: the trust of their clients and the well-being of their teams.
I am convinced that our greatest achievement is not only technological or economic. It is human. It lies in the strength of our teams, the loyalty of our clients, and the shared adventure with everyone who supports us.

The future remains to be written, but it will be built as it has been until now: with passion, resilience, and that deep energy that comes from working for something greater than ourselves. »

2010

Creation of MoveWORK

It was in Montpellier in 2010, within one of the largest technological incubators, Cap Omega, that Patrick Tavaris and Lucinda Ribeiro founded MoveWORK. The simple yet revolutionary idea behind this creation emerged from a business challenge: it was impossible to install traditional time clocks at each intervention site for mobile employees. This led to the development of MoveWORK’s mobile time clock 2.0, which became virtual and accessible to all employees, no matter where they are. This idea addresses challenges in various sectors, including the cleaning industry, which historically became MoveWORK’s first target.

2011

Innovation Award at the Europropre and Multi-Services Trade Show

In 2011, MoveWORK participated in its first trade show and was awarded the Innovation Award for its mobile time clock 2.0, which addresses the challenges faced by many companies, particularly in the cleaning sector, which will become MoveWORK’s core target. This award demonstrates the real need for facility management solutions in the French national market.

2013

Trophy "Coup de Pousse'"

In 2013, it was on its home turf that MoveWORK won the “Coup de Pousse” award, strengthening its position as an innovative company and making it one of the most promising in Languedoc-Roussillon, with a reward of €100,000. It was around this same time that MoveWORK launched its very first R&D program to maintain this momentum of continuous improvement in its services and to stay at the forefront of innovations in the sector.

2014

Opening of MoveWORK Ibéria

The opening of this new branch in Spain only demonstrates MoveWORK’s desire to expand into the European market, a commitment also present in Portugal. This choice was not made by chance. Indeed, Spain and Portugal share a similar European culture, which is reassuring for tackling potential challenges more easily. To facilitate this establishment, MoveWORK received financial assistance of €80,000 from the Spanish government for innovation.

2016

Launch of MoveWORK Connect

The year 2016 marks a real turning point in the history of MoveWORK. On one hand, the mobile time clock 2.0 becomes WorkinTIME, a presence management software. But for MoveWORK, 2016 primarily signifies the shift towards business intelligence, which will revolutionize the facility management sector. In this regard, MoveWORK’s offering reinvents itself with the creation of MoveWORK Connect, a comprehensive ecosystem that includes a suite of four specialized SaaS software: WorkinTIME, CentralDesk, DataFORM, and DataFLOW. The unique feature of these platforms is their multilingual aspect, as they are accessible in French, English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

May 2017

Creation of the Customer Center

In 2017, MoveWORK strengthened its presence in Europe with the opening of its Customer Center in Lisbon, within MoveWORK Portugal. This new service represents one of the company’s strengths. Focused on comprehensive customer support, MoveWORK offers much more than just advisors. They are true coaches who provide personalized advice. With a constant commitment to excellence, our coaches deliver tailored service to all clients in France, Spain, and Portugal. The goal? To directly address the users of the solutions, rather than the company and its representatives, while closely supporting each user to ensure they get the most out of the solutions.

August 2017

Launch of MIA

In August 2017, MoveWORK launched the MIA solution to assist team leaders in finding a replacement when a hostess is late or absent. Through a thorough analysis of various criteria such as specific skills, availability, and geographical proximity, MIA identifies the most suitable person for the replacement. This not only ensures service continuity but also optimizes human resource management, enhancing responsiveness and improving customer satisfaction.

2020

Launch of MoveWORK Flow

In 2020, MoveWORK launched MoveWORK Flow. Born from observations in the field and identified client issues, MoveWORK responds to a growing need for tool segmentation and data centralization within a single interface, thus providing a comprehensive view of operations and centralized, coherent management. Indeed, in the age of digitalization, MoveWORK has created a tool capable of consolidating all functionalities into one platform. Digital environments are customizable based on profiles and adapt to the needs and challenges of clients. MoveWORK Flow is designed to centralize all your field data into a single tool, helping you make informed decisions and improve the management of your interventions.

2021

MoveWORK Academy

In 2021, MoveWORK opened its own training center. MoveWORK Academy offers training focused on developing the skills of future users regarding the various functionalities of the platform. At the same time, it maintains its commitment to quality with the acquisition of the Qualiopi certification. This certification attests to the excellence of the professional training services provided by a training organization. The Qualiopi certification is based on a national framework that evaluates various criteria: design of training actions, implementation, adaptation to audiences, and more.

2023

MoveWORK HealthCare offer

Present in the healthcare market for several years through its service providers, the company has gained legitimacy due to its understanding of the challenges on the ground. We realized that the MoveWORK solution was adaptable to the clients in the healthcare sector. MoveWORK then launches its new commercial strategy and expands into the healthcare market. In response to the very specific needs of the sector, MoveWORK offers a new service, MoveWORK HealthCare. This solution, specially designed to support healthcare facilities in managing their hospital services, includes several new features: a mobile application, myMissions Indoor, to assist housekeeping staff in their daily tasks, and a support system for trolleys.

August 2024

Renewal of Qualiopi certification

In 2024, after an audit conducted by the Qualiopi teams, during which the quality and compliance of the training programs were thoroughly examined, MoveWORK Academy is proud to announce the renewal of its certification for an additional 3 years.

September 2024

Strategic Partnership in the United Arab Emirates

MoveWORK continues its international expansion by concluding its first strategic partnership with the distributor Intercare in the United Arab Emirates. This agreement marks the beginning of a collaboration with one of the key players in facility management in the Middle East region, enabling the marketing of MoveWORK in 12 countries. It comes with exclusive distribution rights and aims to increase our export revenue from 8% to 40% within two years.
