Since 2014, the AMG Services group has been using MoveWORK solutions to manage its operations and client contracts. Founded in 1996, AMG Services is a family-owned company specialized in industrial cleaning and facility management. Based in the Paris region, the group generates €30 million in revenue and employs more than 3,000 people.
Germain Elenga, France Director at AMG Services in charge of QHSE, Digitalization, and Innovation, answered our questions and explained how MoveWORK solutions contribute to the group’s commitment to quality, sustainability, and innovation.
Why did you look for a tool and choose MoveWORK?
Most industries are constantly evolving, and the cleaning sector is no exception. To keep up with the times, we needed to align with both on-the-ground requirements and client expectations. To remain competitive, digitalization was inevitable.
We were already using MoveWORK’s previous time-tracking solution. When they developed the all-in-one platform MoveWORK Flow, it perfectly met our needs, and we therefore chose to continue our collaboration. We were facing challenges in collecting working hours, managing absenteeism, and monitoring quality. MoveWORK Flow provides a reliable solution to manage our quality indicators while optimizing the handling of payroll-related data. It’s a real pleasure to have a single, unified tool to manage everything!
How do you use MoveWORK Flow on a daily basis?
First, we use MoveWORK Flow for intervention traceability and working time collection. It is easy to configure schedules on the platform, and agents can immediately clock in at each client site. On some sites, we have implemented clocking in via geolocated QR codes. In case of lateness or absence, the area manager receives an alert to react quickly and arrange a replacement. With this system, we no longer receive client calls and can proactively manage on-site attendance.
Then, our team leaders use the myDecisions mobile application to carry out quality inspections and self-checks using the same QR codes installed on client sites. With this method, we can customize scoring grids according to specifications and each type of intervention performed. If compliance thresholds are not met, the team leader can trigger a corrective action plan automatically sent to the right person, or directly resolve the non-compliance and instantly adjust the inspection results.
In addition, the MoveWORK Flow platform centralizes all our operational data into dashboards and allows us to monitor services in real time. These reports enable us to present clear performance indicators to our clients, particularly during monthly business review meetings.
For some more demanding clients, we have set up automatic daily reports on quality and attendance. Thanks to customized workspaces, they benefit from real-time traceability of all services delivered on their sites. These clients have high expectations and are key drivers of the digitalization of our operations. In addition, through customizable service kiosks tailored to each contract, they can easily submit requests and track their progress in real time. Interventions are automatically assigned to the relevant area manager, improving efficiency while ensuring everything is centralized without errors.
How have MoveWORK solutions improved your day-to-day operations, as well as those of your teams and your clients?
Before using MoveWORK Flow, our biggest challenge was quality inspections. We were often criticized by clients for the lack of monitoring and the way results were presented, which were often disorganized or even nonexistent. Whether in the field or at the managerial level, the platform has enabled us to save time on collecting, processing, and structuring our indicators. With digitalization, we went from spending 1.5 hours per day processing paper-based inspections to just 30 minutes today. Over a month and a year, the time savings are significant.
In addition, by eliminating paper, we have reduced costs and lowered our operating expenses. Previously, we had to store and archive paper-based inspections for 6 months or even up to a year. With MoveWORK Flow, everything is digitized, centralized, and easily accessible online. This aspect even helped us earn a bronze medal in waste reduction as part of our EcoVadis certification.
Finally, sharing transparent and reliable data with our clients has increased their satisfaction. A relationship of trust has been established and has continued to grow over time. In the past, we had no real support to back up our statements. Today, with MoveWORK Flow, we are able to provide proof and highlight the performance of our teams.
What are your future development prospects?
With MoveWORK’s support, we would like to further develop the use of the myMissions application within our teams. Our managers still tend to rely on phone calls or emails to give instructions. With myMissions, communication between agents, team leaders, and area managers becomes much smoother. On one hand, agents can easily visualize their workload, and on the other, managers can track task completion in real time.
We would also like to promote the myNeeds application to our clients. So far, it has only been deployed on a single contract, even though its potential is huge. We aim to extend it to all our clients so they can easily submit their needs, service requests, or concerns.
Internally, we also want to upskill our teams on MoveWORK solutions and train digital champions. With more trained resources, we will be able to go even further and automate certain workflows. Our exchanges with our dedicated coach are constructive, and the collaboration is excellent, which actively contributes to the progress of our digitalization project. Thanks to her strong listening skills and proactive approach, she identifies areas for improvement, makes valuable suggestions, and brings us optimization ideas we may not have considered.
